Great coats. Great workmanship. Mine is too big and I will exchange it.

Great length and weight. Only thing I didn’t expect was for the shoulder flaps to have a snap but also be sewn in. I’m assuming it’s to prevent tearing in case the strap gets caught but I did think it came off. Not an issue, just something I misunderstood from the photo.

The perfect raincoat!

This is a lovely coat. Beautiful quality and finish. Sizing is generous. I ordered the large UK14 and could probably have gone with the UK12 but I do like my outer wear to have lots of room for bulky sweaters underneath etc. And I just think this kind of coat looks great in an “oversize” fit.
It is warm, with the lining, which is not removable. So, it’s not the kind of coat for summer or warmer days. But for rainy miserable weather, I think it will be great. Or even an evening out. It’s very stylish.
I would have given this 5 stars, but I found the “deep claret” colour was not as vibrant or rich in person, as it appeared on the website. I am exchanging the coat for the Blackberry colour.
The exchange process so far has been great.
Looking forward to receiving the new coat.

I have just received my raincoat and I LOVE it! It’s perfect for my daily dog walks on the beach in the rain. I’m tall and was hoping the length would work for me and I’m surprised to say that it does, perfectly.
It’s exactly what I was hoping for. I’m fussy with quality and this raincoat has it in spades.
I’m impressed.
Who would have thought that I’d need to go to an Irish store to buy a raincoat for me in Australia.

My waterproof coat just arrived. I am pleased with the quality and clever details that keep the wearer comfortable in light or heavy rain. It is very roomy, leaving plenty of room for my down sweater on the colder days.

This raincoat is great, although I have not tested it in a driving rain. It is very well constructed, love the color (not black) and expect that on a chilly day in Scotland (trip is in late August), I will appreciate the lining and the hood. I am delighted to have found this coat.

I absolutely loved this coat. It was beautiful, but I am only 5'2" tall and it completely overwhelmed me. I wanted so much for it to work, but decided instead to return it.

Perfect fit for me, I like my coats on the baggy side so that my movement is not restricted in any way. I need a country field coat. This coat seems so sturdy and hopefully will be trusted to deal with lashing rain and howling wind, as well as wet snow. I really like that the length comes down below my boots, so rain doesn’t drip in. Very pleased with this. And the blackberry color is just the right shade of purple. Looks quite easy to clean mud from it.

Beautiful style and workmanship! I recommend. Only issue is the plaid lining. I would have preferred a neutral, dark lining that would not clash with whatever I am wearing under the coat.

Have had this about two years now and totally love it. The design details are unique and stylish. The lining makes it useable on cold days. The detachable hood is handy. While it is long on me (I am 5 ' nothing) it still isn't overwhelming. One of my most favorite clothing items I have ever owned. Came quickly and was well packed.

A lovely long rain coat in a gorgeous light blue colour. Fits true to size, enough room to cater for jumpers underneath. Highly recommended. One star lost due to the hood being small. I wear my hair up and the hood doesn’t cover my head fully.

I am so very please with my coat…and rain hat. It takes up very little packing space in the suitcase. The size is very generous. I could not be more pleased.

Yes. I just received the coat. I was glad i was able to have it as i was called today for work tomorrow, on time so i could use it considering the coldness of the weather now.
It fits perfect.

The only thing is that, it locked one button on the strap along the shoulder. I will be using it tomorrow so i just decided to suture the old button that i have from my previous jacket. ☺️

The coat is different now, but fit perfect so i would still be using it.

Very well made and came in 5 days. It is a little stiff and makes a crinkly sound so I expect after wearing it awhile it will soften up some. The color is true to picture. This is just what I need walking a Labrador in driving rain.

This is a beautiful coat, but more importantly it shows the expertise and understanding of what is needed when you live in an environment that can be quite soggy. Well made product. I am pleased with the quality of the materials. Runs on the large size so I will need to exchange for a smaller size.

Lovely color and nice touches to keep you dry. Fit well with room to layer. Like the lining- seems like it will be warm without being too heavy. The only reason I deducted a star was that it has that rain coat swishing sound- that I was hoping to avoid. Overall a good purchase- matching hat is cute.

The coat is exactly what I’ve been looking for in a raincoat. After months of shopping on US websites I realized to find functional style I needed to look on the Weavers of Ireland website. The coat is perfect! Truly waterproof not water resistant . So stylish. It’s a fabulous long trench with a beautiful lining, inside pockets, Velcro straps at the wrists, zipper and snaps and who else would think of the leg straps! The one I purchased is Navy. It’s was made to last for years in function and classic style!

Just love this raincoat. Living in northeast Philadelphia, it rains ALL the time. Received the raincoat so fast- only in 5 days. Very well made though it runs large. I’m 5’5” and about 138 lbs. I ordered the size 8 small, and there’s plenty of room. Definitely keeps you warm on long walks at 46 degrees. Will definitely have this coat for years.

This coat is lightweight, but warm. It fits well and can accommodate sweaters or other layered tops. This was a great purchase and I highly recommend the coat and Weavers of Ireland.
