Sean Tweed Overcoat

The coat arrived yesterday, as handsome out of the package as the photo. I was worried I might need alterations , but no, a perfect fit, even including sleeve length, which is always a problem for me. The big surprise was that I expected it to be a much heavier weight, but no, surprisingly light weight. I have to weight for the heat and humidity to drop to give it a test wear, but I'm well-pleased with my purchase.

I haven't given it to my husband yet - it's for a special birthday that he has on Valentine's Day - but I think it's beautiful, and I can't wait to see him in it. Thank you!

Beautiful garment, stunning craftsmanship, gorgeous fit. Only one observation that I'd make is that it could benefit from A Fine lining. I live in the Northeast of the United States and the cold in this hemisphere is far more vicious than in Ireland. I'll happily compensate, though, with layers beneath this work of beauty. May you never suffer a northeastern American winter.

This coat in an XL fits me perfectly, generous enough for a heavy sweater underneath like the attire of the model; I stand 6 feet and weigh about 200 lb. The sleeve length is exactly right. I very much like the simplicity of this coat, with its raglan sleeves and no adornment ( like useless epaulettes or buttons on the sleeves). It is a nice light weight, perfect for fall and spring, and versatile enough for jeans or when getting gussied up!
