Our Aran Knitting Wool comes from our local mill in 200 gram hanks. Each hank is approximately 365 yards.

Suggested amounts of wool per sweater chest size:

5 Hanks (1000 grams) makes chest size 38 _x0096_ 42 inch
6 Hanks (1200 grams) makes chest size 44 _x0096_ 48 inch
7 Hanks (1400 grams) makes chest size 50 _x0096_ 56 inch

Be sure to order enough wool for your project as dye lots do change

This item shipped quickly, and arrived in good condition. It is a beautiful yarn and color the yarn is fairly firm, does not feel to stretch when pulled between 2 fingers. It should work into a sweater that will wear well.
