Trinity Wax Flat Cap

My Husband is very happy with his new cap although he could have worn the smaller size as I ordered the large size for him so a medium size would have been better. He loves the look and the cap is very comfortable to wear.

The craftsmanship on this cap is impeccable! Only 2 things keep me from giving 5 stars. The first is, even though it is labeled as olive, I would say it is black. However, that is not a deal breaker as the olive color on the website is dark. The second thing is the sizing. My head size is 57 cm. Right between a small and medium. I discussed this via chat with customer service and they suggested going up in size. It was fine for about a week, but it does stretch a bit. I think it would have been better to go down to a small. All that aside, I am very happy with the cap. Can't wait to test run it in the rain. I will probably do business with them again in the future. I would most definitely recommend them to friends and family.

This cap was delivered in less than a week to the US. Great communication about the order. The cap itself is perfect in every way- fit, function, and color. It is a deep olive color, which was just what my husband was hoping it would be. He looks amazing in it!

I've bought that cap in Dingle 5 years ago. It is my "summer cap" and I've it on from April to October almost every day. After these years, the color was faded to a light brown and the wax was gone. But the comfort of wearing this one persuaded me to buy the exact same model again.

Every cap I have purchased from Weavers of Ireland have been excellent. They are well made, fit well and comfortable. I would not buy cheaper and anywhere else

I own several Mucros Trinity hats. 2 wool, 2 linen, and now my recently purchased waxed cotton one. Very comfortable, stylish, & keeps your head dry in a deluge.

XL size was a bit larger than I expected….. based on other reviews regarding hat sizing.

This is my 3rd Mucros cap (34 and Patch are the others). All are finely crafted and fit true to size. As the Wax Flat Cap is lighter than the others, this may become my everyday cap.

While in Ireland I bought a tweed Trinity hat in size large and it fit perfectly. Upon returning home we placed an order for the waxed cap in the same size and it was too tight. We then reordered the cap in XL and it fits just right. Other than sizing it well constructed and looks great.

This is a wonderfully well made cap. The wax proofing is very well done and the lining is very nice. I followed their sizing guidelines and it fits perfectly. I’m a very satisfied customer.

After months of chemo and thinning hair, I got my first wool flat cap. After 10 rounds of radiation to my head, all my hair came out. I needed more hats. I got this one rainy, not so cold weather and it is the best fitting yet. All are made very well and comfortable but this was like it was made for my heat. Looks good with casual jeans and shirt.
