Our capes, wraps and ponchos are carefully made by artisan craftspeople in Ireland, made from the finest materials using traditional techniques. At Weavers of Ireland, we aim to share traditional Irish skills with the world and our wraps and capes are knitted and woven using techniques that have been passed down through the generations. At Branigan Weavers, where some of our beautiful capes and scarves are created, the looms are more than two hundred years old, and every piece is finished by hand. The stunning knitted ponchos from Aran Sweater Company feature traditional Aran stitches that have been used to make Aran sweaters for many years and there is a story in every stitch.
