How much shipping do I pay?

Worldwide shipping is calculated at a flat rate according to your shipping address, therefore variations can occur within different countries and states, etc. Once the flat rate has been identified, you will not be charged for the shipping of any other items within your order (to a singular shipping address), as these will all be shipped free of charge.

Do I have to pay taxes & duties?

Any duties on your order will be included at checkout as a separate line item. From 29th August 2025, new US customs regulations require import duties on all goods shipped from Ireland (and Europe) to the United States.

  • For most of our wool clothing and knitwear, the applicable duty rate is 17%, set by US Customs and Border Protection.
  • These duties are not set by us and are mandatory for all retailers shipping to the US.
  • Duties are collected at checkout to ensure your order clears customs smoothly, with no extra bills or delays on delivery.
  • Shipping remains the same — we continue to use FedEx for reliable delivery.

For the majority of our products, the 17% duty applies, though some items may fall into different categories with slightly higher rates. Previously, orders under $800 were exempt under the US de minimis threshold, but these exemptions no longer apply — all orders now require duties, regardless of value.

This change only affects customers in the United States. Customers in Ireland and Europe remain unaffected.

Any taxes and/or duties on your order will NOT be included in your online total. The courier will charge the package recipient all applicable duty, taxes and/or brokerage fees at time of delivery. Since we do not charge or collect these taxes, they won't be included in your online total. Please contact your local customs office for more information regarding these charges. Charges are assessed by weight and volume.

How can I track my order?

All items are sent via our Express Delivery Service (unless you are ordering a single, small item) which comes with a DHL Tracking ID – this tracking ID will be sent to you via email when your order has been packaged and processed by us, so you can follow your order from Weavers of Ireland right to your door!

Returns & Refunds

What is the extended 3 months returns?

If you wish to return any of your products you can now do so within 3 months of the purchase date & as long as the product(s) retain all original tags & remain fully attached to the product. (NB: we do not accept returns on earrings due to hygiene)

In the unlikely event of your product not having reached you in perfect condition, we will gladly process the return of your product. Damage/fault claims must be submitted within 2-3 days of receipt of your order, and we’ll look after you from here.

Once the refund has been approved you will receive a confirmation email indicating that the refund will be paid into your account. This normally takes 2-3 working days but please note that payments to your credit card always depend on your bank provider.

Our Return Policy

If the reason for return is not based on a defect within the garment then you will be required to pay shipping for the item you wish to exchange or refund.

Our Return Procedure

Simply call our Customer Care department at +353 64 668 6220 within 60 days of your purchase. Our Customer Care team will escort you through the process of returning the goods back to us.
