Hats confer upon their owner a rare sort of freedom - specifically, that of economising one's recurring expenses by permitting their owners to give themselves bad haircuts for life, while still appearing acceptably stylish. This, I confess, is why I have bought this cap: I have changed countries recently and no longer have an hair stylist that I can screw in the back room afterwards. But to be a bit more specific about this cap, though, I note that it is first of all made from a very attractive and well-woven tweed; that the seams are very consistent and nicely laid out and tight; and that the proportions of the hat are quite attractive in comparison with others, e.g., the length of the rear is good, helping hold in one's body heat during the winters; and the bill is sufficiently short that it does not make the cap or its owner's head appear unusually proportioned. I'm thrilled with this cap.
