Excellent quality, exactly what I was after.
I ordered the Large not knowing how it would fit. As I had tried on many at a Scottish store in Williamsburg, VA. Some large fit fine some mediums fit fine so when ordering online it is all guess work. I was glad the Large was not too large and it fit. It is a nice hat and made in Ireland and not China.
It is well described, but as others have noted the hat is darker than the photo -- in a good way. Classic / conservative look. The wool is narrow and the weave is tight. The hat is true to size but close fitting, which is great for wind but go larger if you are between sizes. Shipping was fast but brokerage charges applied.

I actually ordered this hat for myself. I love the material, color, was a bit surprised that it is actually very light. I had this idea that it would be on the heavier side, but its my very first tweed flat cap so I had no idea as to what to expect. I am actually happy its not very heavy as I would like to wear it until things warm up here. I live in the USA and the shipping was fast! A few days. Very happy with my purchase and will be ordering again, might try the womens styles.

This is a very nice flat cap. Lovely quilted lining. The tweed pattern has subtle blue and orange lines running through. Much nicer than some other brands I looked at.
