    Best Fall Jacket EVER

Posted by Laurie McCauley on 12th Nov 2021

I have received countless compliments each and every time I walk out the door wearing this wonderful coat. It's the perfect weight for Fall. I wear a turtle neck under, practically any color matches! Perhaps all the compliments are reacting to how good I FEEL in this colorful and happy and magnificent bit of weave. I recommend this site to everyone who says you look marvelous! (I'm a US 8-10 and the medium worked best for me).

Just what I expected after reading reviews. It is lightweight and perfect over sweatshirt or sweater since it is not lined.

    Surprisingly warm, very comfortable

Posted by Fiona Porteous on 22nd Sep 2021

It does need to be noted that this coat is NOT lined, which was unexpected. The upside of this is that it's stretching a bit the more I wear it, which means it's loosened a little around the arms and shoulders; this is good, but it may get a big ragged in a few years.

The arms are a little short on me (medium), but most coats are - I have very long arms. The length is mid-thigh, which is perfect.

The colours are lovely and go with everything I wear.

Despite the lack of lining, it's amazingly warm.

There's enough room underneath to add a reasonably solid wool jumper, and the combination is enough to deal with a dry cold Australian winter (down to about -5C or so) for someone who does feel the cold somewhat. The relative lightness also means it works in spring and autumn weather.

It's comfortable enough to be kept on all the time, rather than being taken on and off as one might do with heavier outdoor gear, so it can definitely be used as an indoor cardy sort of thing.

    Stunning

Posted by Noella on 28th May 2021

Definitely no regrets that I finally purchased this amazing coat which is fast becoming a favourite.
Fell in love with it the moment I saw it but due to cost and living in a place where winter is very brief ( and really not that cold) I procrastinated for weeks before allowing myself to purchase it.
Definitely no regrets. This beautifully made, light weight coat is perfect for an Australian winter. And the colours are glorious.
I wore it for the first time today and had soo many compliments.
No problems with the website and the coat was very promptly sent.
    Thank you Weavers of Ireland.

    Emma Tweed

I paid $289 AU for this coat that is not lined, is itchy, has no shaping to identify it as a female jacket and would be better served as a potato sack. I am extremely disappointed with the jacket, l thought being fron lreland (an older country with more experience and a colder climate) that it would be top quality. Clearly not, lwill stick with Australian wool from now on as our wollen products are clearly better even though we are a young country. Delivery was fast.
