Emma Tweed Herringbone Coat - Donegal Red

This is a gorgeous coat with a perfect fit. I love the colors and the craftsmanship is superb.

I bought this jacket for a friend who loved mine. It is great for Fall and Spring over a sweater. Every time I wear it I receive compliments from people I don’t know. It is such a standout!! I hope next Fall some of the other colors which are sold out are available again.

fabulous coat great for Spring weather

This is a gorgeous looking coat and I will be proud to wear it. It did not give it 5 stars because it is not lined, not even partially and the pockets are very small.

I have received countless compliments each and every time I walk out the door wearing this wonderful coat. It's the perfect weight for Fall. I wear a turtle neck under, practically any color matches! Perhaps all the compliments are reacting to how good I FEEL in this colorful and happy and magnificent bit of weave. I recommend this site to everyone who says you look marvelous! (I'm a US 8-10 and the medium worked best for me).

Just what I expected after reading reviews. It is lightweight and perfect over sweatshirt or sweater since it is not lined.

This is absolutely beautiful! I am so pleased!

It does need to be noted that this coat is NOT lined, which was unexpected. The upside of this is that it's stretching a bit the more I wear it, which means it's loosened a little around the arms and shoulders; this is good, but it may get a big ragged in a few years.

The arms are a little short on me (medium), but most coats are - I have very long arms. The length is mid-thigh, which is perfect.

The colours are lovely and go with everything I wear.

Despite the lack of lining, it's amazingly warm.

There's enough room underneath to add a reasonably solid wool jumper, and the combination is enough to deal with a dry cold Australian winter (down to about -5C or so) for someone who does feel the cold somewhat. The relative lightness also means it works in spring and autumn weather.

It's comfortable enough to be kept on all the time, rather than being taken on and off as one might do with heavier outdoor gear, so it can definitely be used as an indoor cardy sort of thing.
