I have been searching for tweed waistcoats for some time and just found Weavers of Ireland. Ordered a few things, this Donegal tweed and it is nearly perfect. I am 6' and about 190 and the XL fits perfectly. I love the quality, including the inside pocket. Top quality. I'm sold on this weaver.

I have tried very hard to get a suitable tweed waistcoat for my wedding and had bad luck from different tailors.
This one was perfect. Beautiful fabrics, colours and the tailoring is exquisite. I am a very happy customer

Herringbone tweed is finely woven, subtle dark gray with a few small flecks of colour that can be seen very close but give that tweed look. Workmanship is perfect. Cut is medium. Husband is 6 foot, 190 lbs, fairly fit with a hint of extra at waist. Wears 42 long - not slim fit, not full traditional, but middle of those. Waistcoat fit very well, buttons did not pull when done up, and just right length. I did move buttons half inch to give a little more space at waist. Looks really handsome with Jean's or chinos and shirt.

This Waistcoat is beautifully crafted. The herringbone pattern, the superb construction of the waistcoat and it's fit and finish is superb. No loose stitches, buttons attached properly and button holes finished without blemish and the fit is excellent. The lining is also excellent. To top off the the purchase experience, the delivery time to Australia, considering the times that we are suffering, is without peer. I was truly amazed at how quickly this and the other piece I oredered arrived here.
