Love this coat! Smart looking and functional!

Amazing, beyond my expectations

I bought this for a two week trip in Ireland and Scotland. Expected two weeks of drizzle and damp, instead we had sunny days for all but 3 days. The coat was worn daily. It cut the wind. It was easy to pop the hood when my ears got cold or the rain started. The little skirt at the back vent made it easy to hike up Old Man Stor for a sunrise photo shoot, and again, another hike for sunset at some lighthouse in Scotland. It was water resistant, in that the water beads up on the fabric. It's lined and has a little insulation, which was the perfect amount to keep me warm but not too hot. The pockets (I found four), are roomy enough to hold my hat, my gloves, my mini tripod and my phone and my lip balm and my spare lens filters for the camera. I sat on rocks, I jumped over little streams, I slogged through bogs, I hung on the fences chatting with horses and hairy cows and cute baby lambs. It took a beating and came home looking as perfect as the day we left. I wadded the coat into the hood and made a pillow out of it. It didn't wrinkle. I wore it into fancy restaurants as well as out on the bog. I'm 5'-4", 130lbs, 33x29x39, I bought a medium. It fit great. If I put my hands in the pockets, it pulled it snug across the back, but not terribly. I didn't feel frumpy, and that was my concern with such a large coat. It was a brilliant purchase and I am totally delighted. I wore a merino sweater with a half zip, and by zipping the sweater up to the neck, I was cozy as could be on the chilly days. I took the sweater off on the warmer days (using the pockets to carry all my goodies on the hikes, to skip the camera bag). A great coat!!! The arms are the perfect length. The zip and snap front is great too.

This coat is extremely well made with high quality beautiful materials. However, I know the title says "riding coat" i didn't understand that means actual horse riding. No photos or even the video show any equine associations for this coat. Sadly, I need to return because the silhouette is not flattering. The jacket is very wide at the hips and legs and emulates a "barrel jean" look. The photo of the woman hides the fact that it gets so wide in the hips to allow for horse riding with the leg straps. I don't recommend buying this coat for any other function outside of horse riding due to the silhouette not being flattering for regular use.

This is the most beautiful and nicest coat I’ve ever had. It’s well worth the price. I love it so much!

Got this coat for my daughter and she loves it, she said it fits well with enough room for sweaters beneath it and it's so warm and cozy

The coat is gorgeous and the sizing is perfect, even at the larger end. The size guide is perfectly accurate to the American chart for shoulders and hips. I am incredibly grateful that I will be able to layer a sweater under this coat, even though I am rather busty.

Bought this for my wife for an upcoming holiday. My wife's fussy about her clothes, the fit, the look, and above all how well they do the job. She's over the moon about the Erin coat - warm, stylish, quality product. I think she want sit to be buried with her when the time comes!

The cut is very nice, and it is so comfortable to wear. A high neck for protection and inside pockets are very useful. I love this coat.

I LOVE this coat! It arrived on a very rainy day so I got to try it out right away. It's amazing. I stayed dry from head to toe. I especially love how the hood stays in place. Most blow off so I end up holding it in place with one hand but not with this coat...let the wind blow. I'm 5'3" and 118 lbs, size medium fits me perfectly. Highly recommend this coat.

Great features and styling. Excellent overall quality. We ordered the model with the insulated lining since we live the the Chicago area. My wife tells me to get a comparable coat elsewhere would cost considerably more. Sizing is close to what we have in the U.S. so just follow the chart on their web site.

Arrived faster than expected. Quality is outstanding. Great features and looks good on my wife. Living in the Chicago area going with the model with the insulated lining was a must have. Not sure of the sizing so ordered a xxxl (U.S 18in addition to the xxl (U.S. 16) that we first ordered. Would buy from Weavers of Ireland again. Nice product offering.

It is extremely comfortable as well as functional. The outer material and quilted lining block the cold winds. The opening in the back enables ease of sitting. The sleeves are the perfect length for my long arms and can be adjusted to fit snugly around my wrists. I highly recommend this coat and love it so much I’ve treated myself to another colour as well.
