Donegal Waterproof Hat

I've had this hat for years but recently sent one to my sister-in-law for her birthday. Even though its purpose is a rain hat, it is also a wonderful all-around hat. It is waterproof and has a rim that keeps the rain from dripping off the hat and into your face. It stays snugly on your head even in heavy winds. It keeps the sun off your face. All that and it is sooo cute! I get compliments all the time. My sister-in-law loves it, too. This is a gem of a hat.

This hat exceeds my expectations. Shipping to the US was 3 to 4 days. The hat was well packed, though a bit crumpled from being shipped flat. I know it will smooth out soon. It is so cute, great fit and all around charming. I love it. I cannot wait to wear it.

I already own the navy rain cap, which I wore most days last winter. Decided to add the olive for a nice alternative this season. This hat has a special brim that really protects your face and neck from the elements. The beautiful interior provides warmth, and the band can be turned from smooth to corduroy for a different look. Does not blow off in the wind and does the job all winter long. Can go casual or dressy. Very high quality materials.

I am delighted with this fashionable, functional and practical waterproof hat. I've already had several opportunities to use it during some extremely wet and windy conditions, while out playing golf and it was perfect! I love it.

Better than expected, so cute! It has a fabric on the inside around the edge that grips you head to keep it in place. It is windy where I live and this is important to keep it from blowing off. Crushable for packing yet keeps it's shape. It isn't raining right now but look forward to test how it does in the rain. It doesn't look like a rain hat and you can wear it anytime. Love it!

I love this hat. It fits over my mop of curly hair without crushing my curls. I like the brim and like others, I like the brim to be even all the way around, so I adjusted the fit just so. I picked the Smoked Blue color - goes well with my navy rain coat.

This is a very unusual hat, with its funky, slouchy styling and its reversible band. The hat is totally waterproof and the stiffened brim effectively acts as a rain gutter, controlling the runoff. It’s cute and it fits perfectly! And it arrived in the U.S. faster than a lot of our local parcels!
