Men's Irish Scarves

At Weavers of Ireland, we aim to bring you beautiful garments and homewares that are made using traditional Irish skills. The history of craftsmanship in Ireland goes back millennia, and our textile exports are renowned for their excellence all over the world. We work with artisans who use only the finest wools in their practice, and our men’s scarves are a great example of the high quality we look for in our catalogue.

Irish wool has been used to create stunning clothing for many years, and our modern designs often use it in blends with high-quality, specialist wools from all over the world. Merino wool is sourced from the fleece of Merino sheep, which come from Australia and New Zealand, and it is fine, soft and breathable. We also use Alpaca wool, harvested from Alpacas that are native to South America, and Cashmere wool, harvested from Cashmere goats. These are strong, warm wools that offer a great alternative to sheep wool and are the perfect addition to some of our men’s scarves.

Our men’s scarves by Mucros Weavers are made using historic looms and finished by hand, and the colour schemes are inspired by the beautiful shades we see in the Irish landscape. The Mucros Weavers studio is located at Muckross House in County Kerry, and the weavers here rely on Hattersley looms that are almost 200 years old. The Alpaca Scarf in our collection is a versatile design that can be worn with a formal outfit and overcoat, as well as with a casual sweater and jeans.

Some of our scarves for men feature the traditional Herringbone pattern, and this gives an elegance to any occasion. We also have a selection of men’s scarves that include classic plaid patterns, and these are available in several different colour options. Whether you are walking in the countryside or heading into the city for work, our scarves are guaranteed to keep you warm and protected from the elements.

At Weavers of Ireland, we believe that it is important to preserve Ireland’s heritage, and our selection of products includes Aran sweaters, Tweed caps and hats, and Irish Bronze Art. We have a wide variety of clothing and homewares made from the highest quality wools and tweeds, and we will be happy to help you find gifts for your family and friends in our collection, as well as new favourites for yourself.
